So nothing mentioned about a second gate for HKDL. I think Disney should build a Water Park and not Chang Sha.

Rather than YET ANOTHER shopping mall complex at Sunny Bay station, it would be much better to have Downtown Disney at HKDL instead. (I bet Sunny Bay will become another housing estate.)

With a Water Park and Downtown Disney, HKDL will be much more attractive for visitors.

One thing I really like is a park that promotes HK's film and music industries. It is long overdue.

Southern Lantau should be left as untouched as possible. Cycling tracks, hostels and water activities are fine but not a Water Park.

5 star Hotel at Ngong Ping? Who would spend a night there it is so small. I'd suggest they extend the cable car to the top of Fung Wong Peak and build a rotating restaurant and viewing platform right up there, a la Switzerland.

Definitely not a Mini Great Wall. There are hundreds of those around already.

Once again no mention of a motor racing circuit... we are long long long long long long long long long overdue one....

those proposals are for development outside HKDLR.

Motor Racing Circuit is mentioned in the proposals.(What listed above is a PARTIAL list only) but ...

We don't need a motor racing circuit in Hong Kong!

All these illegal racing happens partly because there ISN'T a proper racing circuit in HK.

The govt is spending millions per year trying to stop it when they could use the money to build a circuit and use motorsport as a tourist attraction, in the same way Malaysia, Shanghai, Macau etc use their F1 or F3 motor races to bring tourists in.

The development is moving fast in the region around Hong Kong Disneyland. I hope Disney knows this and is in the process of developing with them. They should keep up with the government and land developers because if they don't, they'll fall too far behind. Expansion of Disneyland and an eventual 2nd gate would be a given.

I just hope it doesn't become too crammed jammed around Disney's property. The Hong Kong resort is really very beautiful.
