I'm a bit miffed about the AP's. On the local news and in the papers they showed an AP with a photo on it. In reality, it's just another cheap piece of paper and we still have to carry ID's with us. Not a problem for adults who are required to carry the HKID at all times, but my 5 year old has to have a rather bulky school handbook, a birth certificate (which I don't want to loose) or her passport. Rather a hastle for me. When I asked about it, I was told there are no immediate plans to change the AP to a photo based one. I have personally seen two instances of passes and ID cards being given to other guests to get into the park. (Friends of my daughter's were bragging about how they got around the system this summer) I really think Disney needs to change this system. They want to make money to keep going, but people being people.....well........

Re: HKDL Annual Passes
I am with you here. I prefer to have my photo taken on a pass that is made of plastic (like my TDR and DLP's APs) over one that is made of cheap tear-proof paper (like my WDW and HKDL's APs). I also do not like to have to show my ID at the turstyle to enter the park, and if they do not plan to implement a photo AP instead, they should at least adopt the finger scanning system found at WDW.
I am curious however, about your claim about your daughter's friends using someone else's ID to get into the park.. How recent was that? Just asking because the AP's just went on sale a few weeks ago.
