    Where was this announced?

Cool... They're like little Christmas elves, except they are from China.
        Growing older is manditory
        Growing up is however, optional

I'd say it was a reference to Christmas helpers being elves, and China because...it is.

Thanks. It was hard to tell from your post whether you'd directly gathered this information from Disney or whether you sourced it from somewhere else.

Just curious because in all my years of writing for various sites, people tend to get very annoyed if you report their news without sourcing it properly.

Site is coming along nicely. Can't wait to see it when it is finished (especially those galleries that are looking very snazzy).

I just received an email from the careers center at HKU telling me Disney was hiring. Hmmm...should I change jobs?
Let's see..Teaching.... I get to dress like a clown and make a fool of myself. Disney?
Teaching...I have to put up with morons most of the day. Disney?
Teaching....putting up with people who don't quite understand what I am talking about. Disney?

              Food for thought.

It's your lucky day - you may be able to have both!

Hong Kong Disneyland's careers site has the details of the "Magical Part Time Work Experience", showing that they only want people from December 11th until January 2nd to staff the shops and man food carts.
I'm guessing that you'll be getting some sort of Christmas break from your teaching so it may just fit in.

If you end up really liking it they're also looking for a part time "Facilitator for Youth Education Series" so you can have the best of both worlds.

                Enjoy
