  • Park-Wide Construction Update with Photos

Construction seems to be breaking out all over the park - including Adventureland and the Promenade! Photos and info right here, folks.

    Most exciting indeed.

    IASW we know about.

Don't know about the work on the other side of the Promenade, it could be something mundane like new Cast or service buildings, even just sewer works.

Adventureland near the Theatre in the Wild could be related to Adventureland expansion across the berm - isn't the path meant to go under the railroad at that point?

Further up along the JC in Adventureland I have no ideas about, but I'm always up for some surprises!

Updated this article to reflect a South China Morning Post piece about increased park capacity.

Thanks for the update! The news about construction in Adventureland is very interesting indeed. There's certainly a lot of space there for more attractions.

There are a few tiny photos there, but expect more to come this week...hopefully.

Re: Park-Wide Construction Update with Photos

I was there three days ago and the only construction visible was at the IASW site. Other than that, there wasnothing else under construction. I also got to see what they have done in the IASW area from the resort bus, when returning from the Hollywood Hotel to the park, and also from the air shortly after taking off from HK Int'l Airport. Seems like most of the outer walls on the building are up and you can distintively see the squared shape of the building. But the construction is well conceiled from inside the park, as only the cranes are visible from within the berm.
