  • Swimming in December?

I asked this previously in my other thread regarding HKDL tips, but I thought I'd start a new thread.

Is swimming even a possibility in December, or am I way off?

We are staying at the Hollywood Hotel, and it appears they have an outdoor pool. Is it heated?

    Thanks for any insight!

    Re: Swimming in December?

I have been there in december and the temperature seemed to be in the 70F's most of the day.. You should not have a problem going swimming at any of the pools in the resort.

The pool at Hollywood Hotel is heated ... and is the very nicely hot jacuzzi (next to the swimming pool). Our last trip was in March and it was pretty nippy, but we had no problems hopping in & out of the pool/jacuzzi and running back to our rooms (we used the very fluffy robes provided in the rooms).

But if you'd rather change closer to the water, there are very nice changing rooms at the pool.

If you get lucky, Goofy will join you at the pool. He loves going swimming at the Hollywood Hotel.

Excellent! My boys will be super excited.

I think they can handle what you guys are describing after swimming at WDW in January when it was in the low 60s. Picture me sitting in a lounge chair all bundled up sipping a margarita.

And TDRFAN, my youngest would FLIP if Goofy jumped in the pool!

          Thanks for the info!
