Hey guys I'm very excited to annouce that in May 2008 I'll be visiting Hong Kong Disneyland. I will be staying at the Metropark Hotel, Causeway Bay for 7 nights. Of course a 2 day visit is planned to take in all the fun at Disney with the rest of the trip being devoted to Hong Kong. Really looking foward to this trip now. Only 216 days to go!

Loomis looks like I will just miss you in May. I will be in Hong Kong from the 15th to the 22nd of May.
One of the main reasons for picking this time of year will be to enjoy the Its A Small World Attraction. This is classic Disney right here and I'm very corious to see what this version will be like especially seeing that it will include Disney characters.
Witches I hope to include a few pics for you when I get back. In the mean time have you checked out my pics from my latest trip to Disneyland Resort Paris yet. http://www.micechat.com/forums/showt...res-80126.html

anyway, hope you got a unforgotable HK disneyland Trip!
I was tempted by a stay in the Hollywood Hotel but I've decided against the idea in the end. It worked out cheaper and more convinient to stay for the full trip in the same hotel. And no one recomended Hong Kong Disneyland as an idea location to stay in due to it being soo far away from the rest of the Hong Kong. I'm only 40 mins away from the park using the MTR anyway so its no issue for me.
And Loomis good luck with the new job on Monday.

Re: Hong Kong booked for May 2008
Well, I'm largely booked in now for May too!
I'm stopping in on the way home from the US, so I'll be flying in on the 24th, staying for three nights, and flying out on the 27th. Look forward to catching up with some of the locals who have been kind to us at the Source over the last year or so...

Re: Hong Kong booked for May 2008
Christmas seems to be the only time it's a small world gets very many visitors. It's a favorite here at Disneyland as well and many people who are not fans of the regular version love the Christmas makeover. I see that in Tokyo Disneyland, it's so popular that they have to temporarily install Fastpass machines just like they do for our Haunted Mansion Holiday. The regular version rarely sees over 30 minutes while the Holiday version with the Nightmare Before Christmas overlay can see lines of 120 minutes or more.Arabian Coast at nighttime ~
