    A new Japanese Theme Park coming to Zhuhai

    As reported by Hong Kong Disney blog

    Macau and Zhuhai have signed a US$4 billion deal to build a Japanese Theme Park in Zhuhai.

    Japanese movie production company Micott & Basara Inc. will open a theme park in Zhuhai.
    beware! Hong Kong Disneyland.

    and according to latest news, Hong Kong government and The Walt Disney Co. are very keen to reach a deal for expansion, but the secretary for commerce and business development said they will make annoucement when an agreement is reached. (but don't expect the agreement will be make soon)

    OK, I think we should just rename this forum Asian Tourism.

    There are all kind of posts for anything here that are not HKDL oriented.

          I blame the HK government for the slow development of HKDL, in a way it's good to have more theme parks competing against HKDL since it will make them speed up a lot. even that new casino in Macau that recently opened is attracting more visitors than HKDL's history.

              NO matter what new theme parks had opened near HKDL, I will still go back to HKDL because that is my cup of tea. Even when I was in Macau, I did not go the Fisherman's Wharf theme park because it does not look appealing to me at all.

              However it is very important for HKDL to speed up the expansion to pull new, first timers and those who are not so convince about HKDL to visit the fantastic theme park.
