The model shows a ideal, completed Toy Story Land. They finally got voice recorded Jessie added to the land too. I'm not sure when or how HKDL will think about expanding the Toy Story Land, but having the smallest Toy Story Land is not a good thing.

Toy Story Land concept is already old in Hong Kong, other parks are just getting it now in a bigger way to impress. If they expanded it in Hong Kong, I am not sure whether that would be enough to draw in exciting visitors again. Unless they come with a new Toy Story dark ride (not Toy Story Mania, coz that one shows his age too when I was in Tokyo recently - I use to enjoy it again and again, but suddenly I saw all the flaws and old technology after revisiting it 5-6 years later)

However I think the new Mickey Mouse ride https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NStFxSD4Dgg&t=367s would be a perfect fit between our Toy Story land and Frozen land.
How come the most iconic Disney character doesnt have his own ride right? Even Moana is more famous than Mickey now...something is just not right. I think WDC knows and is fixing it.

I'd prefer to see other Pixar properties at HKDL. There are none other than Toy Story. Why can't they give us more Pixar? I want to meet Wall-E, Sadness, Carl and Russell, Sully and Mike, The Incredibles...etc.

We only seem to be getting the newest rides if you look back at all our expansions and confirmed ones and they seems to also prefer ones that would sell merchandises along with it.
HKDL is going to be quite unique after all works has been done.
Chances for Sully and Mike are slim, coz they have a ride of it in at least in 2 parks if not more for over 10 years now.
I would love to meet Wall-E as meet and greet in Tomorrow land (or whats left of it after the works).

I think a new Pixar land is not a must in order to have new Pixar characters greet and meet. It just depends on how much does HKDL willing to expanse the meet and greet experience.

This is irrelevant to the topic, I read a post from facebook about the Marvel Run held last weekend.

The writer said the Marvel characters, unlike other Disney Marathon are only seen in the start/finish point of the marathon.

I think there are not enough "character costume" in hand for them to organize any IP themed events. Just look at the Star Wars meet and greet, I feel in a way that HKDL thinks no urgency to add new characters, because it is not a money earning.
