High Speed Rail - Magic Gateway

The Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong High Speed Rail terminus at West Kowloon officially opened last weekend. There is a Hong Kong Disneyland Magic Gateway at the terminus and it opened along with the station.

HKDR Hotel guests arriving by HSR can now check-in their bags at the Magic Gateway and take a shuttle bus to the resort. Anyway the West Kowloon terminus is just a short walk from MTR Kowloon station. Guests can take the Tung Chung Line to reach Sunny Bay station then change to Disneyland Resort Line to HKDR.

Hong Kong Macau Zhuhai Mega Bridge began testing at the weekend and is scheduled to open later this month. That will be a big thing for HK Disneyland as the bridge will connect Lantau Island with the Chinese cities of Zhuhai, Zhongshan, Jiangmen, etc.

The first tour group arrived at HKDL using the newly opened Hong Kong Zhuhai Macau Mega Bridge.

HKDL is doing many promotions to attract guests from the west side of the Pearl River, including a RMB898 tickets package, which includes tickets for HKDL, Ngong Ping 360 cable car and return bus tickets.
