The theater for “Festival of the Lion King.” This show was put together really well. It was a great show.
We used our Fastpasses for Pooh. I liked it more than the one in DL, except for the dream scene. It seemed very plain in this version.
After Pooh, we went on Orbitron. Each ‘Flying Saucer’ could hold up to four, so the queue went really quickly.
It was six o’clock, and the lighting of the castle wasn’t going to start for another half-hour, so we went to Main Street to go shopping.
We saw that the tree was lit. And we felt that it was time to put on the glasses. They make the Christmas lights look like snowflakes. It was cool to see.
It was almost six, so we went up to the hub to watch Mickey light the castle.
It was a great show. They played music, and Mickey pointed to parts of the castle in time with the music, when he pointed to the parts, they would light up. When it was completely lit up, the castle looked spectacular!
We went around the castle into fantasyland for another run of PhilharMagic.
We went back to Main Street to do some quick shopping before the fireworks.
We went back up to the hub to wait for the fireworks. They were very great, but nothing compared to R…DCT.
We headed out of the park, with one final look at the castle.
PirateSkellington, you must had a good trip in HKDL. The Sparklig Castle show shot was fabulous. When I was there with my family in 2006, we were addicted to Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters that we played again and again.
We are now planning to return to HKDL in 2010.
