  • Bronze Statues for the Hub

ORWEN: Hello to all of the sweet little Peking ducklings over in Hong Kong. I had a question to ask about the Hub area of the park over there. Do they have the same cute, bronze statues to encircle the Hub area--like the do at Disneyland in California and the Magic Kingdom in Florida? I mean, it's already obvious to see they don't have a Partners Statue, yet. The other parks that DO have a partners statue also have the smaller bronze statues of Minnie, Donald, Pluto, Dumbo, Goofy, Pinocchio, Chip, Dale and Br'er Rabbit surrounding the partners statues. If Hong Kong Disneyland doesn't yet have these little statues, I hope they get them soon because they really add a nice touch to the HUB area. Of course they may have to get the Partners Statue, first, since that would most likely be considered a priority.

ORWEN: I just knew I should have put this in the 'Dear Katsmom' Section becase I knew you'd know the truth about all this if anybody would. Thank you for letting me (us) know the answer about the statues, sweetie pie. I'll jus bet they eventually make it to Hong Kong Disneyland, too!

ORWEN: Oh, yes, it sure does count!! And it's very nice at that! But when you finally get the Partners statue with all the small statues that go along with it, the pretty little park will be that much nicer.

Haha! I just worry if they get the Partner and other small statues ,the Peking ducks will destroy them all! Because they don't know who is Mr Walt Disney!

Maybe the park is holding out on introducing a partners statue until after the second gate opens. After all in Paris our partners statue is found in the Studios, and the Bronze Statues are spread across the Animation building. I guess Disney don't see it as a priority to to educate guest in who Uncle Walt was, and would perfer guest to learn who all the characters are!
