And I'm back from 3nights and 2 days at SDL.

Take Park Opening Times as a suggestion. One day the posted times were 9am-7pm. They held the Security lines until 8am, and Main Gates until 9am. The next day, we showed up at 8am, and guests were already at the top of Mickey Ave for an 8:30am Rope Drop.

Soarin' - crazy lines. At RD, the crown heads directly for the Soarin' FP line, and a huge backup develops. Soarin' FPs are all gone within the first hour. We rode it both morning as a walk on.
Pirates - simply stunning. Did it 6 times over the 2 days and could have done a 7th.
TRON - great ride. Front row is especially exhilerating.

CMs were great. The park was spotless, and zero 'bad behavior' was seen.

Thank you so much for the pictures - we are heading there soon and found them very helpful. Two questions: 1) how did you pay for food at the resort - cash or do they allow charging to your room? 2) where did you eat the soup dumplings?

You can only charge to your room expenses incurred at the Hotel. All park charges are cash or credit card.
