Most likely, depends, if the 17-18 is during the holiday break. Can't remember when that is.

But seeing as you're going in the middle of the week, crowds should be lower than that on weekends.

Welcome to Micechat!! I like your username... very mythical..

Anyways.. to answer your question quickly: YES!

You are visiting in towards the end of both TDL's Christmas Fantasy and TDS' Harborside Christmas Events. Even if you are going in the middle of the week, expect both parks to be very very very busy. Get there at least one hour before parks's opening time and as soon as the parks open, play the fastpass game from the start so you do not loose hours wasted in line for popular rides, and also to free up time so you can enjoy all of the special holiday entertainment available to all guests for regular ticket price. Remember: unlike WDW, TDR does NOT charge extra for night time parties to enjoy the holiday offerings, so since it is offered during regular hours... it's "open season" to all guests. Expect crowded conditions and plan for it so you can enjoy the parks.

It would a good idea to queue an hour before to take advantage of things like fast pass or meet and smile at TDS. It's also just interesting to see the people running, lol. Plus the characters come out and greet the guests at the front of the queue which is pretty cute.

We did this for Table is Waiting because it was such a popular show and to get a good seat for the Funderful party. If you go really early it's good to go to an attraction like Pooh and ride it first because the line will be short then get a fastpass to ride it again later if you want. It really depends on your plan for the day.

Like Ichigopara said... yes, we meant queuing up an hour before the parks open. This is a must, especially on busy crowded days.

Like others have stated if you don't arrive about an hour before opening, not only do you loose out on being one of the first guest to get FP, but also you may end up having to queue 20-30 minutes just to get into the park.

You will still have to queue up to enter the park... but if you get there at the time the park gates open, YES, you will be in line way back close to the TDR Line station and it will take about 30 mins to reach the turnstyles.
