  • [Fun] Oblique aerial photos of TDR!

Howdy, y'all! I'm pretty sure this is my first post in the TDR forum...I mostly frequent the Disneyland forum. But I thought I'd let you folks know that Live Search Maps has updated their "Bird's Eye" aerial photos, and TDR is now included! For those of you who don't know, these are oblique aerial photos, which means they were taken at an angle instead of from straight overhead. This means you can see the sides of structures, too, not just the tops. They've been available for the resorts in the U.S. for some time, but not for Tokyo until now.

Anyway, here's a good place to get started!

^^ That's great, I'm glad they are extending the bird's eye views beyond US.

Both Monsters Inc and TDL Hotel are there, very up to date!

Nice! I don't know anything about when they were taken, but we think the new ones of Anaheim's Disneyland were taken early in summer 2008, so it's entirely possible these TDR shots were taken around the same time.

Yeah most likely just before the TDL Hotel opened, seeing as the hotel itself looks complete, and there's only abit of construction equipment around the hotel.

Thanks for updating us on this though!

You can even see the progress on Monsters Inc
