It was a big green temporary wall that was put up just next to the Stormrider building. The wall was tall but I managed to stretch and take a picture of the mess behind it. I will try to post the picture later this week. It really semed like more than just minor work although there was no sight of big machinery.

That temporary wall is still there as of two weekends ago when I last visited. No one seems to know what is being done there. I have asked and gotten no responses. But apparently, there is no construction activity seen behind the wall.
I was taking a guess in saying that maybe they were adding restrooms or a small counter service for snacks.. but so far, we have gotten no info on what's being done (if anything) in that corner behind Stormrider.

              I'll help with that.

trouble is most folks won't take the time to go look for it.

When I was last there (in July), the wall was up and the only thing I could see behind it was a temporary office trailer. Also, one side of Stormrider was closed, with the pre-show area boarded off in the main lobby as well. I assumed that they are changing Stormrider in some way, as I'm not sure what would require refurbing in the pre-show area, and that the construction wall outside was just to block off a staging and office area for the project.

It would be great if they fixed the screens in Stormrider so the seams aren't so readily apparent. It really kills the immersive nature of supposedly looking through a window out of the plane when you can see all those seams in the screen. They would have to shut down the theaters one at a time to do that, so perhaps it's good news?
But SuperDry's post tells me why the wait time at Stormrider has grown so much longer in the past year--only one side is operating!
