  • [Question] Hotels fully occupied?

    Hi folks,

Been a while since I've visited the boards, but I'm planning a trip to Japan again this December.

I've tried out the newish booking system on the official website, and it seems that all hotels around December 11 through 13 are "Fully Occupied".

Is this typical of the time of year/six months out?

    Cheers
    Loomis

I would call. The availability online may differ from what is actually open.

I would call as well... but do know that hotels at TDR are usually booked to 95% or more capacity throughout the entire year. Weekends and holidays in particular can be pretty tough to book, especially if you do not do it right away when the booking dates time window opens. I think it is up to 6 months in advance?

        Re: Hotels fully occupied?

Thanks, folks. I might end up pushing it forward/back by a few days. I wanted to day there for my birthday (the 12th), but I may avoid the weekend completely. As it stands, I'll be there 9th-11th, and checking out on the 12th. So at least part of my birthday will be in TDR, and I can head to Shibuya for drinks that night with friends.

Can I book my park tickets at the same time? The function on the official site seemed to have either hotel or tickets, but not both.

        Thanks again for any help...

If its anything like the mayhem involved at Disneyland Paris during Weekends on the build up to Christmas its best avoided. Which hotel were you looking at Loomis, and on a completely off topic question, are you no longer contributing the the Hong Kong Disneyland site?

Don't know if you've already booked Loomis but you book the room independently of the tickets. As a guest you are guaranteed entry to the parks during your stay and it's just best to buy the tickets from the ticket desk in the hotel. They sometimes have hotel-only deals (like all-hopper) passes etc. that are otherwise unavailable.
Don't go to the parks on the weekend, even during the quiet parts of the year it's crowded!
