  • [Question] Attractions closed for Maintenance--do they ever reopen before schedule?

I just found this list on the official site that says that Journey will be closed May 6, 2010 - July 23! We're there on July 21, any chance that it will reopen by then?

No, attractions open after the last day listed on that page. However, OLC has been known to change the dates posted. So keep checking the status as your visit nears.

Also, the English website "sometimes" has errors and doesn't get updated as quickly as the Japanese one. However, your chances are slim for the 21st. JTTCOTE re-opens on July 24th.

While Journey to the Center of the Earth will be closed when you visit, they may be offering guided tours through the queue (only up to the Terravators). This is one of the few times that they welcome you to take pictures of the Terravators loading area. They also had a door to one of Captain Nemo's Offices open that you could enter (a desk/study seen from the queue line). The tour was in Japanese... not sure if they have anyone that gives a tour in English.

Ooh, this would be cool! We could stop at Guest Relations on the way in to check about the possibility of an English tour?
