Another helpful spot is the Disney Hotel site. You can gauge crowds based on the rates calendar (scroll down the page about half way). Tokyo Disneyland Hotel Official Home Page
Drop another coin in slot and I will tell you more.
If you don't speak japanese, I made this little guide:
Here is the chart with the date:
The circle I made its the color you need to check with the table below
And here is the table located in the bottom that says what color corresponds to the type of crowd that day.
Side note:
年 is for year
月 is for month
Hope I helped

DLP: 1996, 2002, June 2009
TDL: July 2008, July 2010
HKDL: wishing it will be soon
Can't read a word of Japanese, or should I say a character, but I believe the weather buttons allow you to see how the different weather conditions will change the crowd forecasts. In other words, hit the umbrella one, and it will show you what the projected forecast is if it happens to rain that day. The windy one appears to have the greatest effect. Surprisingly, even more that the cold/snow.
Forget 'Great Moments With Mr. Lincoln,' Samantha Brown is Disney's most sophisticated animatronic. ________________________________________
Disney/theme park Park Trips: Disneyland Anaheim: 1983, 1987, 1994, 2002, 2007, 2011, 2012 Walt Disney World: 1997, 2007, 2010 Tokyo Disneyland: 2009, 2012 Disneyland Paris: 2010 Hong Kong Disneyland: 2012 Universal Orlando: 2007, 2010 (twice!) Efteling:2011 Lotte World: 2012
The weather buttons are amazing. Overcast days are the most crowded, followed in descending order by sunny days, rainy days, and typhoon days. Typhoon days are the best--the parks are virtually empty and everything is a walk on. I'm amazed that people sit on Big Thunder Mountain in the rain and get soaked.

Forgot to mention: one of the best crowd indicators are the Disney Vacation Club point charts. Higher points for a room mean bigger crowds; lower points for a room mean small crowds. Look for value season and you'll know when the best time to visit is.
