Re: Goin to Disney Sea right when it opens. So which rides should I get in line for f
If you are arriving right a opening, you will be too late to be able to get FastPasses for Toy Story Mania so you should probably head to Tower of Terror, Journey to the Center of the Earth, Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Crystan Skull, or Raging Spirits and see if you can get a Fast Pass for whichever one you want to go on the most.
If you want a FastPass for Toy Story Mania, I would suggest you get in line at the gates 1.5 or more hours before opening and run directly to get a FastPass.
Don't be surprised if the Standby line for Toy Story Mania remains at over two hours for the majority of the day.

If you've seen Tower of Terror or Toy Story Mania at another park, I would focus on the great rides and the unique things.
Most Japanese are still heading towards American Waterfront first, so I suggest going the other way. Go to Mysterious Island and FP Journey to the Center of the Earth, then hop in line & ride it. Then when you get off do 20,000 Leagues under the Sea, use your Journey FP and head off to Mermaid Lagoon and Arabian Coast for anything you want to do over there as most of the guests started in the opposite side of the park as you so it will be less crowded right now.
We did it this way and were clear of crowds and got on all the rides and shows we wanted to the first day except TOT which always had a line, but I was OK with that (did it the next day, it was OK, but wouldn't run their first again when returning).

Prometheus around what time is FP running out on weekdays? If we get in line at the turnstiles an hour before opening and run do you think we can get a FP? The parks seem to have lighter crowds lately so we were thinking of giving it a try tomorrow or Thursday. Please follow me @dreamsweetslove on twitter!

FP's ran out in 10~20 minutes, usually if guests dont run, there is a high chance they will not obtain fastpasses..we stop the line for fastpass in about 10~20 minutes and if you RUN, you can still get late fastpassesTokyo Disneyland Crew!

Fastpasses run out in 10 to 20 minutes after park opening? That's unbelievable! Has to be unprecedented in any Disney park.Born in a shoebox and making the most of it.

lucky for me going before golden week! :yea:
Anyway, you'll have to get there before park opening rather than just at park opening. Go for fastpasses for Toy Story and then go straight to your favorite/most-looking-forward-to ride. I'd go to Tower of Terror because they're closest. Or I'd go to Journey to the Center of the Earth. I think they would be good rides to start the day off!

Do they take "late" fastpasses, or fastpasses that have past the hour window?Currently at DreamWorks Animation SKG

I don't see the need to rush to the back of the park, Indiana (and Ragin Spirits) have terrific single rider lines. We saved hours of waiting and a huge effort to acquire FPs by utilizing those.
Really it depends on your priorities - by far Journey is the most unique experience the park has to offer, though TDS's take on Tower of Terror is terrific (though the physical ride itself is the usual). I'd probably end up skipping TSM, especially if you've gotten to experience it in the US parks. I don't even like waiting 45 minutes for it at DCA.
Make sure you hit everything else though, it's an amazing park, and even the rides that are similar to US installations have a unique take. That's still probably true of TSM, but that may not be worth the effort.www.gregscoasterphotos.com <- Go there, it's good!

I agree with going for the unique rides. The others might have nice differences, but it's not the same as a totally unique ride.
The sole exception to this is Raging Spirits. It's both brief and underwhelming. Personally, I have little interest in battling the TSM crowd since i've done it many times before.
