    Cover for the December DisneyFan:

I was hoping for something Christmasy, but it's still nice. Here's a few merchandise pics.

Ah, interesting. Thanks for the info.

Here's a preview of the goods Japan Disney Store will have:

Slightly underwhelming so far. The Uni Snowman Bears are kinda cute, though.

Awe, sorry. You should still use it since it would likely be different enough. Probably even better since most of the time you "cut" the characters out of the background/border. (like your current sig) I don't know how to do that but I got creative and painted red carefully around the image. Your call, I wouldn't mind if we match.

@Danimated - I like your avatar I was going to use that same image as mine after Halloween is over now I'll have to find another one LOL

I forgot to post this when I organized the links. Here's TDS's Souvenir Cup and Plate. Really nice.

Yeah, I have to admit he is a cutie. The only thing I'm not really fond of is the way it opens. Would've preferred if it opened from the back side of his head. (think Easter Wonderland's 2011 buckets) I'll probably still get it since it's in the shape of the character and I really love those since they're more unique. I'm still conflicted on the other one... it's essentially the same bucket. Some change in colors and a different topper. Nice for those who missed out on last years, or really liked the design, but to me it feels like a double-dip. More pictures will probably help.

Wow, it never even occurred to me that the magazine publisher might not like that. It just always seemed like a nice way to share information with fans who live outside Japan and might have a hard time ever seeing them. Now that you've put it like that, I guess I won't do it anymore either.

The new Christmas stuff does look great. I'm optimistic about the harbor show at DisneySEA, though a bit disappointed the trees don't appear to have the interactive download function this year. Disneyland looks fun, too, as I love the Santa Village theming. And some of the menu options, like cookies and muffins, look authentically traditional. This is my favorite Duffy Christmas release ever, which is especially exciting because Halloween didn't connect with me as much as last year.

Big Band Beat is one of the best shows I've ever seen...I bet a Christmas version is amazingly fantastic.

Thanks for the links. Loving the Donald and Daisy Gingerbreads too. I was hoping for a Gingerbread shaped popcorn bucket too - maybe next year, but the Snowman Mickey one is adorable!

Preview sites are up! Here are the goodie links:

    Tokyo Disneyland
    Goods:
    Page 1, Page 2
Souvenir Menu Items (Cup, Plate, Case, Water Bottle Holder, Lunch Case & 2 (!) Popcorn Buckets)
Make Your Own Leather Carving Combo
Make Your Own Leather Carving Tag

    Tokyo Disney Sea
    Goods:
    Page 1
Make your Own Mirror Crystal Locket

OMG, cute!! Donald and Daisy are adorable as Gingerbreads! I like how they have normal eyes.

Kind of disappointed in the popcorn buckets. Snowman Mickey, really? And the boot design again? Seriously? I wanted something different. Takes away from the uniqueness of last years.

Aside from that small issue, this years merchandise/designs look really nice! OLC has outdone themselves again. Going to be spending a lot I'm sure! )

I'm guessing someone will post pictures.

I personally don't post pictures from the magazine in respect of the copyright laws.

The 22nd is the day Disney Fan magazine comes out so that is probably what you read. This next issue should have a preview of the Christmas merchandise.

Disney Resort Line ticket: (info and a look at the monorail deco)

Look Mickey's holding gingerbread Mickey! Cute!! And he's a wearing a Santa hat! Ok, that alone makes it better than last years! Well, that, and it just looks "brighter". Another improvement is it doesn't have that zombie Pablo. The Elves, of course, are just as cute as ever. Overall, I love the new scene. I was wondering how TDL could top themselves from last year and so far it looks like they have! Love the little touch of seeing Santa out the window.

If the hat addition to gingy Mickey is any indication, that will probably be the new update for gingy design/merchandise. If it is, it certainly lends more hope to the possibility of a popcorn bucket - the hat could function as the opening, ala the recent Ghost bucket. Crossing fingers!

Update: Aha, I nearly missed it but if you look hard enough you can see Minnie Gingerbread on the cake tree. Unfortunately she's still pink... :thumbdown Looks like she's holding a candy cane and has an updated bow?

Now that I think it over, they could choose not to retire him. I mean, they didn't get rid of the mouses when they got the gingerbread treatment so there's hope. Not to mention it was his first year. They better not touch Pablo, though!

Can't wait for the preview site to be up!
