  • [Question] Has Anyone Seen them Enforce FastPass Return Times Lately?

Going to the resort shortly and am wondering if anyone has had any experience with the castmembers enforcing FastPass return times yet.

To be honest, I've never seen TDR CMs turning away a Guest because the FP time has expired. But then again, I've never seen anyone try to use an expired FP at TDR, nor have I ever tried to use one that is expired.

Might be just another Japanese cultural thing.

I have seen FP holders denied early entry. It's happened to me when I got there a few minutes early. And I *think* for PHH someone was denied late, but I didn't get a good enough look to know for sure. They were clearly upset when they ran up to the entrance with their FPs and couldn't get in.

Roger55, you wrote, "I've never seen anyone try to use an expired FP at TDR."

How would you know that unless you are a native Japanese speaker, working the FastPass return line?

Because I DO speak Japanese and have been going to TDR multiple times a year for the past 12 years.

When I am by the FP enterance, either because I'm using my FP or even if I'm at the standby enterance, I am fully capable of observing and hearing what is going on at the FP line with the Guests entering the FP line and the CMs working the line.

My statement did not claim that it never happens. I simply said I have never observed it. I do see people try at both DLR and WDW. If it happend as frequently at TDR as it does at the US parks, I would have thought I'd have seen it happen.

You don't have to work at the FP line to see or hear people trying to use their expired FPs.
