  • [Question] TDR in May?

We had such a great time back in December, taking in all the Christmas decorations and such. We are wanting to get back and enjoy Spring Voyage over at DS, so I'm wondering what is it like during mid to late May? Crowd wise? Weather wise? It was pretty chilly when we were there, so I'm hoping May will be pleasant.

I found this website. Google Chrome translates it for you somewhat

May is a wonderful time to travel to Japan. If you are looking for few crowds, be sure to travel just after the end of Golden Week. This is a major holiday in Japan culminating on May 5th, with Children's Day.

The weather when we traveled was pleasant, with only a sweatshirt needed in the mornings and evenings.
Drop another coin in slot and I will tell you more.

I'll be enjoying the resort from the 7th to the 10th which is right after Golden Week. For those with experience, do you think it's absolutely necessary to buy my park tickets in advance or should I be okay buying a 4 day passport on the early morning of the 7th (from the Hilton)?

Buy your park tickets at the Hilton. No need to buy in advance (and all you'll get in advance is a voucher that will force you to wait in line at the ticket booths in front of the park).

Yay! I'm gonna be in TDR too in mid-May for my 2nd honeymoon. Our original honeymoon was also in TDR 7 years ago. It'a a trip that we've been dreaming of. And we're just in time for the Star Tours opening. Next time, we'll bring the kids with us... probably in 2015. :yea:
