We have a front page filled with amazing content. We offer weekly meetups in the parks. Meets and events all over the world. Podcasts and videos. And we continue to maintain forums for your posting convenience. But with all those options, we can't be everywhere all the time. We need YOUR help. Please don't poke the trolls. Report posts and leave reputation. We'll do our best to keep the forums clean and active, but we can't do so without your help.

Accuracy in posted wait times

    Hi guys,

    Just wondering if the posted wait times for rides in Tokyo Disneyland and Disneysea is accurate?
    In other Disney parks, especially in the US, sometimes I find the wait times are exagerrated.
    Is it the same case in Japan? Thanks.

    Many people here will tell you that the posted wait times are exaggerated at the Tokyo Disney Parks. Sometimes this is true, other times not. Posted wait times are based on how many people are in the standby line, and how many people they expect to return via FastPass. Later in the evening, when the people who got their FastPasses at 10am are long gone, the wait times are off because a of the FastPass people never return. I've waited on lines that were exactly the posted wait times, and lines that were half the posted wait times. Crap shoot.
