    News Mystic Manor! Holy Christmas!

Great video of Mystic Manor, just opened in Hong Kong:
Mystic Point Disneyland Hong Kong - YouTube

Why am I posting this here instead of in the Hong Kong area of Micechat? Because this ride is so entirely different from the Haunted Mansion, and so good, that I bet we are going to see this added to DisneySEA sooner rather than later.

OMG OMG OMG!!! That was FANTASTIC!!! But, don't bring it to Tokyo Disney. I need an excuse to go to Hong Kong and this would be it. Need to start saving for that trip. LOL

Could be a possibility for the block of land next to Indy?

From the videos of the ride, it looks as though it was made for DisneySea, just incredible.

It really makes me want to visit Hong Kong Disneyland now, and that's a first for me.

It's really not worth going to Hong Kong Disneyland.

I think they'll build this in the American Waterfront area behind Toy Story Mania, where the bus parking lot is now.

I think the theme of exploration and historical artifacts is too similar to TOT to go into the American Waterfront, but if they changed the theme a little it could fit next to Indy in the Lost River Delta, but I'm kind of hoping for something bigger to take up residence in that area.

I think this attraction takes to many scenes and effects from other Disney Attractions to be considered for Tokyo DisneySea. Besides Hong Kong Disneyland wanted unique attractions to appeal and compete against the upcoming Shanghai Disneyland Resort. And I think Grizzly and Mystic are going to remain exclusive to the Park for quite some time.

The whole point is that Hightower and the guy from Mystic Manor are both members of the Society of Explorers and Adventurers. And it makes perfect sense for his house to be near the Highttower Hotel.

Does Mystic Manor really fit and blend into the American Waterfront?

Both are from the same society but appear to be from different parts of the World. Hightower is an American while Mystic seems to talk with an English accent. Plus both attractions Start with a walking tour storyline.

But the ride story lines are redundant.

I thought I read somewhere that in order to have permission from the government to build these attractions. Disney had to create something that was original to HKDL and HKDL only.
