The ride vehicles are essentially choregraphed with the ride to move through each scene when it's supposed to. In certain rooms the vehicles will stop, watch the scene play out and then move on. In others the group of vehicles along with you will seperate and go through the room on slightly different paths, as if in a ballet, and then meet up again as they exit.
I haven't been on it, but I've seen video, and even that impressed me a huge amount. If they had put anything close to this in at DLR, Critter Country would and extremely crowded area of the park.
Edit:
Also the video at http://webjay.org/iteminfo/191509/da...385ab22458625b is actually the one I've seen before. The one above has quite a bit of extra stuff in the park before showing the actual ride. Watching both will give you a better idea of how the vehicles move about, and how the ride is a bit different depending on which car you're in.
TDL's Hunny Hunt is simply *FAB*ulous!!! You MUST ride it to believe it! It's that great and no video on Earth does it justice. You MUST go to TDL and ride this!
Can anyone help me. I realli have no clue what it is. I know the Plot and everything but what type of ride is it
Thanks
To answer your question, Pooh's Hunny Hunt is a simple dark ride -- You get in a ride vehicle and it cruises around different scenes, which tell a story.
But of course if you have experienced the ride in person, is it FAR from simple and about a million-zillion times better than *just* a dark ride. Think of it as the next evolution of dark rides. It's what could have been if Anaheim Disney would have spent a few million dollars more on its Pooh ride.
I saw the above videos before I rode it in person and I was still stunned after riding it the first time.
does anyone know how big the show building is for this ride? Is it the size of IASW or smaller?
It's kind of hard to say because the building is so well conceiled in between IASW and Toontown, but I would take a guess and say the size ot the building has got to be similar to Roger's CarToon Spin building. Give one or two square meters either way.
I'm referring to the Tokyo attractions. The total area covered by IASW is larger than Haunted there. But I must point out that approximately 40% of the IASW building is the queue/loading platform room/clock facade. So the actual "ride" portion of the attraction could be larger in Haunted.

ok well comparing the Disneyland versions it does seem that Small World might be slightly larger so I'll take it back
they're still very close to the same size though
but with the indoor que and all I'll give Tokyo the edge a bit (I've heard their ride is shorter then Disneylands though)

TDL and WDW's versions of IASW are exactly identical in show and design, with TDL's having a double lane loading platform so that may make the queue area a bit wider than MK's.
If you want to see a good video of it, that shows some of how great it is check out this site: http://barrybedford.com/index2.html He has some of the best attraction videos on the net of Disneysea as well. There is a full ride through of Hunny Hunt on there, but the one thing that you really cant see too well is in the Heffalump room, the cars dance in and out with each other, AND a extra car of heffalumps in the middle of the room.
