  • AMAZING TDL nighttime photography

Don't know if you guys have seen this, but it's a site of nighttime TOkyo photography, and has some amazing shots of some amusement parks, especially TDL and TDS!

Screw Cinderellabration why couldn't WDW get the lights of romance??

      (rhetorical question-I know why)

For one.. TDL's hub is approx. 150% bigger than the MK and can hold these types of magnificent displays due to it's size. And for two... DW's management is cheap and would never put up the dough required to create this maginificent light and sound display. Somehow they feel WDW's customer base is not worthy of the expense or the treat. Rhetorical answer you already knew.

The quality that is TDR above all other Disney resorts is so maginificent...it makes folks speak Chinese in awe, as you can see up there.

About that site... I do not know if this is run by a CM or some professional photographer witrh some decent digital equipment. Some of those shots appear to be taken after hours. The photo quality is great! Being an Entertainment geek, I love the shots from the various Halloween events, shows and Dreamlights. Pay close attention kiddies... Disney does NOT get better than this.

Wow, those pics are amazing! I never did realize just how expansive TDL is around the hub. Much bigger than Disneyland and WDW's Magic Kingdom combined!

150% bigger than the MK's hub as a matter of fact.

                  If it's 150% bigger than MK's hub, I can't imagine the size relativity to Disneyland's hub...wow.

Those photos are jaw-dropping and they literally sent chills through my spine.

Most likely the money they could have spent on installing Lights of Romance was instead put into the removal of all the trees and plants around the hub. The hub is now so shadeless and bare(mainly around Walt).

                      Thank you, that was astounding.

Now I really, really want to go back to Tokyo this summer. Hopefully, the vacation schedule and airfares will cooperate.

Wow! These pictures are amazing. I have yet to visit TDL, but these pictures make me want to go there a lot now.

By the way, does anyone know if the MS Electrical Parade still runs? Some of the TDL exclusive floats look amazing and I want to check them out in person!
                        Woof!

Yeah...and now you can see from Liberty Square to the Contemporary.

DL's hub has new trees since I was last there, probably changed them all because they had a habit of falling constantly.

If MK's hub is shadeless, it certainly wouldn't be the first place that WDW was lacking in shade. I find the same thing at the Epcot entrance, the whole MGM ticket plaza, etc.

I actually found this view interesting, and took a picture of it on my trip. The way the Contemporary is placed makes it look like it's simply another piece of Tomorrowland in the way-back. I just love that sight trick.
