Exactly what a Disney commercial should be. I should see a magical and different place, not be told it is one while looking at the Magic Kingdom superimposed on Disneyland superimposed on the Magic Kingdom being told that it is magical and different.

Yes. Many times you see westerners there and many non-japanese performers happen to be blond as well. So it's no oddity. At least to me.

You must have been there on a different day;-) When I was at DisneySea, I counted all of 11 Westerners all day.

There is a current show that has 10 non-Japanese performers.

..and does that bother you? Because it doesn't bother me. As a matter of fact, I do enjoy the fact that not one person there looks like "any WDW guest" to me, and they are even much more polite than those at WDW as well.

This commercial pretty much shows nothing.

That was astounding. A beautiful video and commercial. Now that is how the stateside parks should advertise.

Is the first commercial, could the characters be a reference to Mr. Hightower? As he "owns" the boat in American Waterfront and his hotel will be the centerpiece attraction of the 5th anniversary...

Hightower doesn't own ships like this. He prefers to collect things. The Columbia is most likely Cornelius Endicott's ship.

That is why it's so brilliant. It depicts a family arriving by cruise ship into a celebration. It's a strike of genius. Why are most american impaired in the art of "appreciation"?

I double checked on the official website and you're right about this. The S.S Columbia is indeed Cornelius Endicott's ship.
