  • Pirates of the Caribbean- New Changes?

I don't know if this has been mentioned before but I noticed that Pirates of the Caribbean is closing for 2 months. That's a pretty long time for just a normal fixing up. Does anybody know if they're getting the same changes Disneyland and Magic Kingdom got? Both of those got their changes done in 3 months.

TBH I doubt anything will happen in this refurb, but depending on how well the movies have done in Japan, I'd bet my bottom dollar that Captain Sparrow will be installed within two years.

It's already been confirmed in Paris, they will be going in within twelve months, but then both movies were runaway hits in France.

It's been discussed quite a bit. Who knows, maybe, maybe not. Personally I hope not. I like their Pirates of the Caribbean because you can walk right on to it instead of going into the stupid pit and then walking into it. They've kept it classic and I hope they keep this one the same so we have at least have one version that hasn't been changed.

One of the French MCers linked to www.dlrp.fr a while back with a story on Euro Disney SCA execs visiting Disneyland's version and transferring re-hab money from other attractions to the re-Imagineering of Pirates.
