But Big Band Beat is excellent and probably fits the theatre better. I am dissappointed that I won't get to see it though. All that build up for nothing.

It sounds like Oriental Land Company is thinking that Tower of Terror is not going to give DisneySea the tremendous attendance boost it hoped for.

Well if they are, then it is a good sign they aren't relying on it like Disneyland management was with DCA's tower.

Oh well, on the up side, rumor has it that Sinbad's Seven Voyages is due for an update! On average, rides are better than shows anytime in my book. Although the popularity of Tower of Terror is yet to be determined, it cannot help but bolster attendance to some degree.

On top of all that, TDS already has a mind-blowing new show...Legend of Mythica. The combination of Disney characters and creatures of mythology is one thrilling combination! For all we know, the resort may even surprise us with the announcement of a new port sometime soon.

Im sure the execs in Paris are hoping the new TOT at TDS helps boost attendance up to some degree,as its Studio parks has a lot riding on its own version of the attraction next year.

                Re: DisneySea's Snow Queen, Cancelled?

is it just me or is it wrong to rely on "The Tower of Terror" for a major attendance boost? I mean it worked for MGM but that was because it was bold and original at the time. They should have had a brand new attraction for the Paris Studios.

as for TDS, I think it's really smart to promote the anniversary rather than the attraction. That's what the parks should be doing, having major events that feature great attractions.

the only way they should rely on an new attraction to bring in the crowds is if it is completley new and revolutionary (like Everest or ToT way back in the 90's)

anyway, I hope we haven't seen the last of The Snow Queen
