I heard that TOT Tokyo has been given a huge amount of money and really hope a large part of it goes to the attraction itself. Only TOT Paris will have a larger budget but I think that includes some sort of a Sunset Boulevard to build with the TOT.

Hopefully I'll be in Japan this summer and get a closer view of the Tower... some want to join me?

1. Saving your Euros won't help - I don't think that an ASIAN country has been admitted to the European Union yet.

2. Given the fact the funding is coming from the Oriental Land Company the same fine company that brought you Tokyo DisneySea (see the miceage.com article) to begin with and it obsesive attention to detail, I'm will to bet that TDS TOT will be (putting on a British accent & demenor) Satisfactory.

Keep in mind that since there are a large number of high rises in Tokyo, that the terror factor will probably be greater for the Japanese.

I really like the almost gothic look to the facade. I wonder if they'll put any asian influences into the show/ride itself, or if it'll be exactly like it is in the states.
