First off, I love the look and the feel of the new ToT (and have yet to visit...), and hopefully this topic will not be moved.

I do have an odd request for those who have been and will go...
Plus $25, and shipping, I want one of those cool Shiriki (sp?) shirts that is shown in Joe's video. The only with him standing, on a black background on a black shirt.

I have been debating whether to post it here or in another thread, and this one, is the only one I could think of.

That's cool. On Ebay? I could find very little for Tokyo Disney Seas or their TOT on ebay. Only 7 items come up under anything I search for.

I still think its strange that with all the Tokyo DL and DS fans on this thread, there isn't one person who understands Japanese enough to translater Mythica's Narration by the Diamond Fairy so that we can actually understand what's going on. I know the backstory and everything, but it would be nice to know what is being said during the show. I just find it odd that no can do this.

I don't buy on Ebay. I buy my TDR stuff at TDR. I was at TDL and TDS yesterday, checking out the Halloween events and other stuff. Pics forthcoming.. if you behave.

Well Manator, there are some things to concider here.. I am not sure if the Shiriki Tee is still on sale because it was a pre-opening merchandise release. I would have to look for it and see. The new TOT shirts are purple and have Mickey and other characters riding the elevator on them.
Also, if you wear anything bigger than a large size...the Tee won't fit you. At TDR, tee sizes are conciderable smaller than the sizes in the USA. They are categorized as XS, S, M, L, LL in Japan sizes. The LL equals a small Large size in the USA. may I ask what size you were???
They sold for 2,500yen, and came boxed or unboxed..depending how the shirt was displayed in the store. The one I bought for myself to collect was a LL size and still in the box since I know it won't fit me. (I am a XL size). Look at these photos:

I bought a pile of Tower of Terror merchandise at DisneySea today ... they still have some of the commemorative opening items, but I did not see the boxed T-shirt that TDLFAN shows in the above post. But if I do, I'll be getting one.

I am a medium...although I can get away with a small, which makes my wife very upset - we have finally booked a flight to Japan for 2008! Yippie.

The one I bought for myself to collect was a LL size and still in the box since I know it won't fit me. (I am a XL size).

There goes all my souvenirs. Maybe we can get TDR to build a Large-Bodied Foreigner's Goods store for us visitors. They can build it far off in the parking lot and the interior will be decorated with spartan white walls and no special touches.

I would suggest purchasing a L size in japan. Maybe Mara can help since he happens to be there, but then again... these shirts came out in July as a pre-opening item... they may be sold out already. One of the joys of TDR is that merchandise sells quickly and it's never duplicated. If you pass, you may not find it ever again. Their merchandise line up changes constantly.

And MARA??? How did you like TOT/Mythica/Halloween??? etc etc

Found what's left of the commemorative boxed T-shirts today at McDuck's Department Store. They had six, all size small. Bought one for the collection and a second for a gift.
How small is it? Looks like it would fit my five-year-old daughter!

TOT is superb--much better than its counterparts in the States. In all ways. (I'm not a Fifth Dimension Room lover.)

It's more crowded today (Tuesday) than Sunday here at DisneySea. Line for Journey to the Center of the Earth was 90 minutes not long after park opening (all those folks who came to see the Tower of Terror have to go someplace immediately afterward--or after getting their FastPasses). It dropped to 45 minutes about an hour later.

Sat outside the Tower of Terror and watched the FastPass sign for a while (the standby line about 30 minutes after park opening was 110 minutes). The FastPass line extended well into Cape Cod, and the FastPass return clock increased by about an hour every 10 minutes.

It's raining and windy (all day) and this has been forecast for days, so bad weather certainly doesn't keep anyone away from the parks in this country! Rain all day tomorrow as well.
