I'm still on vacation so this one will be brief. I've taken over 1000 photos of TDR, and plan to update my blog with 100 or so of them every night (http://web.mac.com/okwhatev/iWeb/disneysea). Anyhow, I just got back from Nagashima Spaland today, and plan to do FujiQ, Yomuriland, Universal, Parqu...
Great job Kayoss... were you there today the 20th??? I saw several gaiyins there...
Yup, despite being gone from the TDR, I went back today with an 'after 6' starlight pass to get even more footage/photos. I captured 'both sides' of the "Sinbad" in very high quality... so should be a nice way to remember the ride in case it's drastically changed after it's extensive rehab.
And can I just say... starlight pass.... what a GREAT deal! You get to see Tokyo DisneySea at it's prettiest (nighttime) for 4 hours for just $27.21. I got on 5 rides and took another 100 or so photos. DisneySea for under $30....
It just doesn't get better then that!
Finishing my nightly photo blog now.... will post when it's up...
Tower of Terror photos (including the exterior, interior, surrounding area, and fantastic gift shop) are now available to view on the lastest blog. There's so many photos here that I had to split the gallerys into two parts!! Part 1 is up now, and Part 2 should be up within 15 minutes of the time of this post. Be sure to leave your comments so I know what you all think!
I really appreciate these "detail" photos you're giving us. It truly shows the quality of Tokyo DisneySea, one that can't be matched by any other theme park.
Thanks..... as long as someone is enjoying them, I'll keep up the blog. I just finished posting over 90 PortoFino, Venice and New York Harbor area photos.
The pictures of Mediterranean Harbor and American Waterfront are just jaw dropping. Your pictures bring back good memories of when I visited Tokyo DisneySea.
Speaking of pictures, I noticed that the map of DisneySea in the MiraCosta has not been updated yet. You know...the one right next to the private entrance for hotel guests. There is still a blank where Tower of Terror should be and Raging Spirits has not been added on as well. I know this is just nitpicking but it just doesn't feel right.

Reason: Added picture
I highly doubt the picture of the TDS map at the Miracosta will be updated. That is the pre-opening artwork, and very valuable for any collector. It would be a disservice to retouch it with upgraded graphics.

Indeed... the map remains the same as when MiraCosta opened. (They didn't even add Raging Spirits.) I haven't heard of any plans to change the mural, which as you know, is extremely beautiful. I don't really think it's too big of a deal myself, and rather enjoy having the 'original' map for viewing in the hotel.
After an unexpected internet issue (specifically, a lack-there-of) I’m back online and armed with another installment of the photo blog (set to resume daily as planned.) Since you’ve all been so patient, here’s a special treat: a glimpse at the Tokyo Disneyland version of Splash Mountain. To be specific, 98 photos worth. As it's currently uploading, it should be online shortly. Enjoy!
Unfortunately, my internet connection where I’m at (in Hawaii) keeps cutting out, and my huge update isn’t agreeing with it. So I’m afraid I’ll have to wait until I’m back on the mainland to continue with the photo goods. LOL, kind of funny that I had no problem with internet in Japan, but loads of problems back in America.
