To sum up... the Japanese are more respectful and don't "check their brain" when they visit the parks like the Americans do.

Ever been on a Hoover Dam hard-hat tour before the terrorist attacks stopped them? Let me tell you, if someone screwed up or didn't follow directions in those tours, you're easily talking serious injury if not death.

I don't really agree with your statement, although I don't think you were trying to discriminate against anyone. I think for Disney it's more of a liability thing, as the US is much more lawsuit-happy.

You know...the COOLEST (well to me) in that attraction looked to be those little goblin faces (form Sleeping Beauty) that appeared in the water of the fountains. Simple effect...but creepy.

Personally I thought it looks pretty dated specifically because it prominently featured The Black Cauldron. We used to own a game based on that movie for Apple II and my son would ask why he'd never seen that movie before. I'd have to explain that it came from the bad old era of Disney animation and that he really wouldn't want to see that one.

This, of course, was back when Disney movies had VERY limited release on VHS.

I can see how they would consider that an issue in the U.S. but there really weren't many problems when I went on it.

They would very much get into it, you wouldn't be able to tell. I've never seen any person not cooperate with the CM and I have been going to that attraction for quite some time. I have baby pictures of myself in there.

Wow ... it was nice to see that again. Too bad I couldn't understand most of it.

I've never been to TDR but seeing this wants to make me go. But it's closed, and that stinks. I want that at Disneyland, CA and Disneyworld now though for the more mature audiences.

I know it is closed but I thought it looked interesting. And I get what your saying about knowing Japanese to fully appreciate it. Thanks. Maybe they will reopen it in the future.
