    Just back from 9 days in Walt Disney World and after riding the "Disney Resort Liner" in at the Tokyo Resort, it was quite a shock to get back into those claustrophobic, damp monorails in Florida. The monorails in Tokyo are so much nicer it's not even funny. Here's hoping the new monorails at Disneyland will be a step up.

      No it is NOT FREE. The trasportation charge is added to the price of the passports, but it's not shown separatedly on the price boards, so you won't feel the pain....

        Off topic, but I just want to say that the Official Hotels are actually quite expensive. The cheapest room in either the Hilton or Sheraton are over $420/night during peak period. Only during the off season are they considered "cheap". This is neat becuase both the Ambassador and MiraCosta offer rooms that are cheaper during any time of the year, yet they offer much more benefits. So in short, reserve a Disney hotel if you can!
