  • Disney Magic in the Sky on Hiatus for Summer

So from July 20th through to August 31st Disney's Magic in the Sky fireworks shows will be on hiatus.Could this be because of the talked about new evening show coming to the park as a way of celebrating the new movie additions that will be coming to its Pirates of the Carribean attraction.

And anyone got any guess to what this show will be,perhaps another similar fireworks show but using the movie soundtrack.

Tokyo Disneyland will be hosting "Wet and Wild Pirate Nights" at the Plaza on those dates. At the same time, Tokyo DisneySea will have "Bonfire Dance" in Arabian Coast.

Hmm two brand new night time shows for the Summer sounds interesting. But why when I read the words "Wet and Wild Pirate Nights" do I have visions of that Las Vegas show!

There is no more pirate show in vegas... It's now a bimbos on a ship type show, which is horrible.

The Treasure Island Hotel has probably undergone the worst "transformation" in Vegas. So has the MGM. Now? Only the Mandalay, Wynn and Venetian are truly wonderful hotels to stay at. Everything else in Vegas is quickly becomes trailer trash.

I'd MUCH rather go to Tokyo Disney Resort than Vegas. Funny thing is, when you think about it, you could easily spend just as much if not more in Vegas than you would a long trip to TDR. Amazing no?

I've been to Vegas several times and not once have I felt the need to ever go on a mad gambling spree. There is so much more to do in this city.
