  • Height restriction for kid's roller coaster

Hi, I'm trying to find the minimum height requirement for the two kid's roller coasters at TDS and TDL - "Gadget's Go Coaster" and "Flounder's Flying Fish Coaster".

I saw the themeparkinsider.com posted 35" for these rides, but I understand Japan uses metric, which after conversion is 89cm. I can't find this information anywhere else on the web, including TDR site. Just like to confirm on the figures here as my younger one might be on the borderline for this height, so better prepare her before hand if she can't make it for the rides.

    Thanks.

How old is your child? The only requirement is that the child be three years of age or older.

Another attraction, Splash Mountain, has a minimum height requirement of 90cm (35.4 inches). If she can ride on Splash, then the kids coasters should be OK.

Or you can do what many Japanese parents do, have their kids wear shoes with thick soles/heels.

My child is 2.5 years old. I thought restriction is by height and not by age?

I don't think she can ride Spalsh Mountain. I have the impression that this ride has a minimum height of 40 inches. I could be wrong.

Do Japanese parents really do that? Probably can "increase" by 2 cm. Worth a try. Thanks.
