Hello everyone! OLC released more information for Tokyo Disneyland Hotel opening next July. So far only the Japanese version was released but we loosely translated it. I'm sure an official English version is coming soon, but for now, enjoy ours. It features the following information:

I'm very impressed by all the facilities like the mazes and the restaurants too. I have no doubt that the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel will be the best of the Victorian themed Disney resorts. Regarding the pricing, it looks like I was correct in guessing that the rates would be somewhere between the Ambassador Hotel and the MiraCosta. Seems like the majority of the rooms are a very good deal considering how huge they are. It seems like the first two months after the opening is considered a "top" period, as they are charging maximum rates. Smart idea, as people are going to be flocking to the hotel. It has such a complicated pricing structure too, sorting rooms into so many categories. I'm very interested in the character rooms which have been themed richly to compensate for the less than stellar view.

Unfortunately not Mike. I have to wait until January to start making reservations just like most other people.

Hmmm... 31,000 yen for the lovely JR Train track view leading to Tokyo...in the dead cold of winter. I kind of like the Character Room themes.. Hehehe...

Be warned TDLFAN, I visited Paris just this week and the park is incredibly filthy. I know its usually the worst maintened out of the lot anyway but it seemed a lot worst on this visit.

What else is new...? Besides... you just came back from TDR, and with that experience fresh in your mind... the other parks will appear to be in much worst condition. Just last night, G-Fan and I went to the MK to attend MNSSHP, just 48 hrs after attending TDL... and even the MK appeared to be in so-so condition when you have TDR's cleaning standards fresh in your mind. Mind you, the MK was rather cleaner than on some of my previous visits...

What I can't understand about Paris is that I visited in the off season, and park was quiet yet all the attractions were opened and nothing was being refurbished. Yet many areas of the park needed it. I only actually got to see one guy in the entire 4 days I was there who was actually doing any painting. Surely it would be cheaper to close a couple of the attractions down and clean up some of the attractions and fix all the AA's. I could go on a lot more about this but will wait until my trip report to really voice my concerns. But your right when you have a visit to TDR fresh in your mind it does efect the way you look at the other parks. Through TDR could do with cleaning out all the leaves that were at the bottom of the outside pool at the Mira Costa.

You mean you actually went inside the MiraCosta to take a look around Terme Venezia? And the outdoor pool is currently closed until summer season, so that may be the reason they are holding off cleaning it.

Not only did I visit but was given a personal guilded tour by one of the most knowledgeable people your ever going to meet regarding the TDR.

Actually the outdoor pool was opened when I visited but was deserted, as most guest seem more interested in using the inside pool. In my personal opinion that outside pool is one of the hidden gems of the MiraCosta with its character fountains.

Joe? Did this tour give you insight to why I love the MiraCosta so much? Truly the best Disney hotel in my opinion. And I"m surprised the outdoor pool was open. I guess it must have been in its last week of operation before closing due to climate.

But you do have to admit that the MiraCosta is simply gorgeous and amazingly detailed. Whether or not it's worth the price is debatable.
