TDL tomorrow! How much $$ / ATM?

Hi,
We are off to the airport to Tokyo in the morning. Very excited.

The TSL website said there are no ATMs in the park that take foreign cards. Is that your experience? Even one with a Cirrus or PLUS symbol? One of my USA cards, I use frequently in China.

If not, how much $ should we plan on getting at the airport or wherever? How much do you spend a day on food - mostly. We're two adults, 2 kids. Mostly food and snacks, some small toys, etc.

The bank ATM inside either Park don't take non-Japanese bank cards or credit cards. However, East Gate Reception located between Park Entrance and East Picnic Area outside TDL do take Visa/Amex/Plus/DC, etc. A similarly-configured ATM is located inside the MiraCosta Hotel at TDS.

For your family, I would have at least 15,000yen in cash per each full day that you spend in the city. If you will mostly spend it inside Tokyo Disney Resort, probably half that amount. You can use your US credit card in most places within TDR.

You can also get cash in the cityback or postal ATMs at the airport's arrival hall. If you have a US debit card that operates with the PLUS system, you should not have any problems getting cash at the ATMs located outside TDL's Main entrance, where the AP Processing office is, or at the ATMs located in the lobbies of both the Miracosta or Ambassador Hotels. On those ATMs, you have to withdraw in digits of 10,000 yen or more. The Citybank ATMs allow you to withdraw in digits of 1,000 yen, which I find more convenient. I personally do not carry more than 10,000 yen in cash and use my credit card for payments in TDR, so that way I get the best possible exchange rate when I am there.
