Country Bear Theater?

I was looking at TDR's list of temporary and permanent attraction closures, and noticed that the Country Bear Theater is closed December 28 this year. But on only one day...

Is it closing forever, or is it just closing for a one-day refurb?

Could it be to undress the bears from thier christmas garb....

One day does seem like short downtime????

One-day closure after the Christmas season is standard for this attraction.

Ok, good, thanks for the info. If this Country Bear Theater closed down just like Disneyland's (I'm not sure if Paris or Hong Kong has it), then WDW would be the only one left with the Country Bears!

I'm sure Tokyo's Country Bears will be around for a long time. They even show the Vacation Hoedown show during the summer!

I never cared for the Vacation Hoedown, but I love the original Jamboree. I even know it by heart!

I agree. While not big E-ticket attractions, they really do help pass the time when you're in between Fastpasses. I always enjoy a nice presentation in the Tiki Room or the Country Bear Theater for this very reason. I think they add quite nicely to the overall experience and are good fillers.

Unfortunatly those shows just date so badly IMHO. I'm glad there are no bears in DLP.

I can just imagine a french bear, italian bear, english bear, german bear all saying their own little bit.

In fact the whole thought is making me quite dizzy.

Paris has quite extreme weather and theatre shows are ideal place to go when the tempature drops. I can understand why some may feel the shows are dated by todays standards. But still surely updated shows maybe not involving Birds or Bears would still compliment the park.
