Hi All,
I was able to make hotel reservations a few months ago, but now that I want to call back to (1) see if any non-smoking rooms opened up since I booked my room and (2) make dining reservations, I find that I'm unable to select the English option.
After the Japanese-language instructions, I'm told to press 9 and then 1 for assistance in English. I hear a beep (like the kind indicating it's time to leave a voice message!), and when I input 9-1 the Japanese recording comes back on. I never had this problem before in all the times I was trying to call to make my initial reservations.
I'm using a calling card (same as before), and I've tried from my cell as well as from my landline, and I'm always unsuccessful. I also tried about a month ago and had the same thing happen. Has this happened to anyone else, or do they just REALLY not want me to eat there?
In case I can't get through, how hard is it to eat at the Blue Bayou or Magellans w/o a PS? I'm visiting November 6-9. YAY!
