How to make a reservation ?

Hi

I've searched and searched info about making a reservation to TDR:s hotels and now I have to confirm something with you guys :

1) Only way to make a reservation (if you're not in Japan) is by phone ?

2) Phone 045-683-3333 is open 9:00 am and 9:00 pm, local time. Is it only on weekdays or open on weekends too ?

3) Are those prices that are shown on Disney website with tax ?

4) And they have people speaking english there ?

Sorry, those are pretty basic questions, but I don't know, it just seems so darn difficult to make a reservation to TDR, last year we stayed at Hilton Tokyo Bay and while it was very nice it's not Disney...and besides, the price difference to Ambassodor and Hilton isn't that much.

2. Yes, open everyday.

3. Yes, tax is included in the prices.

4. Yes, at times.

And do ASAP 6 months in advance to your scheduled visit. The hotels do fill up quickly.

6 months ?!?! We are planning for a room in Ambassador for Feb '08, surely it can't fill up that much in advance ?!? I understand that the best views in Miracosta go fast, but all the regular ones too ?

Well... february might not be too bad since it is the slowest season at TDR. Bring a heavy jacket..as it does get very cold in Tokyo that time of the year..

Hi !

We were there last Feb, and weather was....well, somedays it was very nice (15 C and up) and others, well, not so nice, raining etc.

But since we come from Finland and our temps during Feb are mostly somewhere below -15 C, it feels like Florida to us

I don't mind the cold weather either, but it does tend to keep the TDR parks uncrowded. BTW.. this is the last time to catch Cinderellabration as it's being retired this year. Too bad you won't be able to enjoy the 25th anniversary celebration which begins in April. If I were you, I'd wait until then.

Doh ! But no can do, Feb is the only time we can make it, since that is the month our son has a holiday from school, next time would be summer and I think that by then the parks will veeeeery crowded .
