Tokyo Disney Resort Credit Cards

Hello,
I have a trip planned for early November and found out about the troubles in purchasing tickets through the TDR website when using foreign credit cards (MasterCard in my case), I had no luck either. This led me to question if I would also experience trouble in person when using the same card. Would anyone happen to have recent experience (having visited sometime 2018) with using a MasterCard to make purchases at the park for food and souvenirs? There was something in the FAQs that sort of casted some doubt. Side note, if you could also share if you had trouble using a card throughout Tokyo. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

You won’t have trouble using your card at the resort, but you’ll want to check if your card charges foreign transaction fees, which will be applied in addition to what you purchase. I used an Amex card or my Costco Visa because they don’t charge foreign transaction fees.
