  • Tokyo Disneyland Hotel question

Heading back to TDR for the third year in a row and we've decided to splurge and stay at the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel.

I'm aware of the early entry and such, but I was curious about the hotel from an experienced guest's perspective. What are your discoveries and/or recommendations there? Dining, lounges and secrets. What's not to be missed? Thank you.

I think the splurge was worth it for my “once in a lifetime” trip! I don’t know about secrets but definitely take the time to explore the hotel grounds. Inside, the Cinderella theme continues into more offbeat pathways. Outside, they have some beautiful gardens that were pretty quiet and calm at night.

I did the afternoon tea in the Dreamer’s lounge and while my opinions on the food offerings were mixed (only coming from a American palette when it is designed for Japanese guests), I found that the atmosphere was peak Disney.

As you mentioned, staying at the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel grants you early entry to the park. Be sure to make the most of this benefit and head straight to the popular attractions to avoid long wait times.
