  • TDL 25th DVD's

Okay, I was planning to ask this in 2008, but since I saw this already: http://www.resortathome.com/video/memories25thdreambox.html why wait.

    Thanks,

The DVD won't play on an American DVD player unless it's a region free one which you can probably find online.

Release Date: 04/02/2008 (3/19/2008 at Tokyo Disney Resort)

That's cool they're releasing the Viva Magic show in DVD quality but man it would've been neat to include more full shows on the set instead of just hilights

You can buy it off Amazon Japan and have it ship to the USA. It cost more but you can do it. As for the region free DVD players, just go to an electric store and asked the region free players.

There is no TDR shopping site available at the resort's site nor thru individual parties as far as I know. You just have to buy from online retailers with japanese merchandise on sale like amazon.co.jp for example.
Now region-free dvds can be bought anywhere...Amazon for example.

I'll be interested to watch this set once it becomes available to buy online, through I wonder how much of the DVD footage will be similar to what has been released on other Anniversary DVD/Video sets in the past.

Who cares? Bring it ON! Besides, hasn't WDW been recycling the same old material from the 80s in their newest videos about the resort?

If your computer has a DVD player, you might just want to keep it on foreign regions. Once I'm on my last region change with my laptop, I'm going to have it just play my Euro DVDs.

http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/ doesn't have it listed (yet?) but they do ship to the US. Some of the Japanese book chains with US stores carry DVDs, so you might want to check out Kinokuniya and the like. And it never hurts to ask around otaku circles as well.

Someone correct me but I thought CDJapan had stopped selling TDR cd's to foreign markets...

Failing that the site http://www.yesasia.com does ship TDR DVD's and CD's out of Japan to various parts of the world. I have used them before and highly recomend them.

I just buy them in Japan, or at TDR.

I too tend to buy most CD's and DVD's at the parks too. Unless I want them now rather then later. As I now won't be returning to the Resort until 2009 for the opening of Monsters Inc, chances are I'll be having to buy that DVD set online.
