  • [Question] Adventurers Club Tickets

I had jeard the rumours PI would be closing, but the prevailing wind at the time was saying it would be in 2009. So I was hoping to schedule a final hurrah at the AC during our trip in December.

My partner being very sweet and knowing how excited I was purchased both park tickets and tickets to PI when he booked our december trip.

Oi! The 4 tickets to PI cannot be refunded as they are technically still valid. Does anyone know of a reputable place to unload these? Just looking to recoup the cost.

Who did you buy these tickets through?

Also Disney will honor the value of these tickets. You should just take them to guest services, and they will allow you to apply the monies towards a different experience i.e. DisneyQuest, a waterpark, or they might, (I SAID MIGHT) offer some sort of refund.

PM me if you have a more specific question.

If Disney sells a ticket that is good on any day (ie not a special event ticket good for one specific day only) and if Disney makes the decision to close that location, they owe you a full refund. Applying the amount towards another ticket is not good enough.

I'm a bit confused of when your trip is, but Pleasure Island's last night of operation will be Saturday September 27th, 2008.

It's not a rumor. It's official. And it'll be closed by September 28th according to the announcement Disney made, so you'll be too late when you come in December.

I believe what the OP meant was that he had heard BEFORE the announcement that it would be closing, and scheduled a trip in December of 2008 because the rumors AT THE TIME was for it to close in 2009. Now that the announcement was made for it to close in September, he is wondering about the refund of tickets since his will not be valid, since it will already be closed.
