    Re: I miss this too...

Somebody on Ebay is selling a blueprint of the original ImageWorks.

    Item number: 270254572790 (Only $15.00!)

FYI: I'm not the one selling this!

Aimster... those are cool "blast to the past" photos. Have you seen the cool "original EPCOT attractions" pin set on sale at WDW? Has all of the original rides with the logos on it. Cool pin set, especially because there is one of CommuniCore with tha little purple robot... remember him?

SMRT-1! He moved to the check in podium of the Concourse Steakhouse at the Contemporary for a while after Communicore closed. I am praying that pin set stays in stock until August 1st. That's when I can order it mail order. I thought the NYC World of Disney would get it, but they lied and said they aren't.

I'll take a peek to see if they have that pin set when I go next month. I'm not really a pin collector/trader though (I occasionally buy a new Tigger one or a Pluto one for my mom).

I totally remember that little purple robot though! I miss CommuniCore!

FYI... the pins I mentioned above are NOT sold together as a "set" but, rather are sold individually. However, you can always buy all of them to make your own set. Get me?

And thanks YoyoFlamingo for bringing up the name of the robot.

And, if you haven't already, I highly suggest that you check out Martin Smith's tribute video to Journey Into Imagination that covers all the changes that pavilion's gone through with some great old footage.

                  Good morning, son
                  In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
                  It was pain
                  Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

Ooh, I loved that table with the pins that you'd play with underneath. Thanks for the memories!

Mike, here's a little interesting bit of trivia. According to the CD-ROM, an Imagineer spent a MONTH at the pin factory to make sure all the pins for the tables were consistent.

I do miss those. What do they have upstairs now anyway?

Well, I know the park-goer isn't allowed but do they have anything up there or is it just storage or cobwebs
