  • Video The Muppets Visit Disney World (Not Muppet Vision)

Hey everyone. With the current rumors of the Muppet's return I thought it'd be fun to share this video with everyone. I simply stumbled across it on youtube. I do not own it.

It's a lost Muppet movie where they (literally) invade Walt Disney World!

Features one of the last performances of Jim Henson and even a cameo appearance of Raven Simone.

The video is in six parts. Originally aired 1990.

    Enjoy!

This was a special for the Magical World of Disney, right around the time Disney was looking to buy the Muppets the first time.

I still have this on VHS somewhere. Still a lot of fun to watch. Thanks!

I've seen this before. I really wish Disney still did unique specials like this. We need another incarnation of The Wonderful/Magical/Fantistico/Wonderific World of Disney or whatever they want to call it now. I remember watching every Sunday night when I was a kid. Was a highlight of the week.

Yeah I do too, but that was before the Disney Channel(s) and their 30-60 sec spots for everything... I fear those longer productions are going the way of horizons....
