  • [Question] Weather 4/4

I'm really bummed out and My sis wants to take me to Animal kingdom/Epcot on april 4th. I noticed the weather prediction is Scattered thunder storms. Does this mean that it's going to be a miserable day and the outdoor stuff will be closed? I went over the summer and had to miss out on Splash Mountain and Big Thunder due to storms. Is it worth risking a 1 day trip from Boston?

    Re: Weather 4/4

Please, don't worry about things that no one here can predict nor things anyone have control over. Just plan to go visit and if the day turns out OK.. great! If not, oh well.. but asking about how the weather will be on any given particular day is just silly. Unless someone can pull a crystal ball and see the future?

Yeah, so don't ever ask that again!!

But seriously, I say go and have as much fun as you can. Unless you're from out of state, then I don't think it will put as much of a damper on your trip if it rains.

        Heck yeah!!!

Scattered thunderstorms in Florida is nothing you may not even see a drop of rain all day, and if you do it will clear in about a half hour, and the sun should dry everything out 20 minutes later. Nothing at all like when it calls for rain here. I was down there this time last year and the weather was a fantastic break from the cool temps up here!

Im free on the 4th and would love a day trip to WDW

          Re: Weather 4/4

FYI the forcast can change quite a bit in a week, but just to put into perspective it is calling for all day showers here in Boston and high around 50 (cold raw and damp day ). So I much rather take my chances in Florida with scattered storms.

Thanks for the advice! Now hopefully I can convince my sister to book the tickets.

The weather forecast here in FL can change every day (or less). Just keep checking the 10 day forecast on weather.com and you'll have a better idea of what it might do.

This is very true, just get up that day and head to the park ready to have fun. Rain or shine you'll have a good time. I've made over 12 visits and the infamous 5 minute thunderstorm never seems to slow down the day!

A rainy day at WDW is better than a good day in most places...
He felt like his life was some kind of dream and he sometimes wondered whose it was and whether they were enjoying it.

Today is a good example on how the weather can be. It was rainy/overcast/stormy this morning. Now... not a cloud in the sky.
