  • [Question] Summer Hours?

Hi again! Well, you know when Stitchy starts planning a WDW trip....the questions start. LOL. I always have a ton.

    Here's my newest one...

When do summer hours in the parks end? Our trip will be the first week of Sept...will they still have the longer hours then? We went in the same time frame about 3 years ago, and I remember them being opened till about 11pm then. That's the only thing I haven't liked about our last trips....the parks closing earlier. I like the freedom of being able to leave in the middle of the day, and rest, then come back. When the parks close at 7pm, that makes leaving difficult, cause you have less time to play.

So, big question.....will the parks still be open later in the first week of Sept?

    Re: Summer Hours?

Just a guess, but here at Disneyland the later hours stay in place until after Labor Day and then everything slows back down to early closing times.
    Last trip to Disneyland: 04/06/09
    Next trip to Disneyland: 04/23/09
    Visits in 2009: 13
    Last trip to DisneyWorld: 01/04/09-01/09/09
    Next trip to DisneyWorld: ?

Okay. We will arrive on Labor Day actually. So, I hope the hours will hold out for that week.

I am anxiously waiting for the August hours to get posted on the official website. I am about a month away from being able to make a few special dining plans. I'd also like to see the schedule for the early mornings. I definitely take advantage of those, especially for Magic Kingdom.

oh, yeah! EMH in the mornings at MK are the greatest thing EVER! We can do all of fantasyland and all our favorite rides in that extra hour and the first two hours when the park opens. Not many people want to wake up early on their vacation, I guess.

I am an early riser at home. When I am on vacation, I am usually excited to get up and get going in the morning. My grandson and his mom like to sleep in, so we usually meet up later. I always tell them how much they have missed.
