You could always add onto your previous trip report too.

Yes, you are right. I didn't know if it was appropriate to make a new one though specifying it was pics for people who don't like to get into a mess of pics loading if they have slow connections.

Do you happen to know how I put html in here? Flickr guidelines specify if I post my pics in another website, I have to use this embedded HTML code they provide me on each pic, b/c the picture must link back to the site when clicked on. I can't figure out how to get that to work!

Sorry if I seem lame. I'm new here and to this type of board.

OK! That worked! I figured it out, but it was time consuming so I limited what I posted. I wish Flickr didn't have these strict guidelines. Sorry if this inconvenienced anyone.

As to the pics, I hope you enjoy them if yer one of the people who told me you couldn't view them on Flickr! And the bright skies and high contrast were mostly due to some days I used a lens with a circular polarizer on the lens and had my camera's setting on "vivid"

It cracked me up that you point guns at riders on BTMRR, good ol fashioned family sniper fun!

This guy was familiar. Pretty much the same set and character that you pass at the beginning of POTC at DL.

                Re: My trip in pics!

It's a Nikon D40. I love it! For dark rides I use a 35mm f/1.8 lens, this large aperture allows you to get things in lower light without a flash. The high contrasty ones, I was just using the kit lens with the filter on it to pop the sky and colors. Some of the outdoor shots still had the 35mm lens with no filter on it. I didn't like to change my lens a lot while outside to try and not get dust up in my camera. So some days I would decide I wasn't taking dark ride pics and just leave the kit lens on with the filter, others I did the opposite, but still took outdoor shots just with the lens that didn't have the filter.

If you have Flickr there's more on there, it was time consuming to post them here the way Flickr demands so I didn't post much. But many people had told me they couldn't see them on Flickr without an account when I posted the link in my TR so I thought I'd try my best to make some viewable here.

                  Re: My trip in pics!

I noticed that on the Great Movie Ride the exposure changed here and there. Was that automatic on your camera or do you just know exactly where you want it to go?

                    Re: My trip in pics!

For that ride I had it completely in manual mode. Depending on the light in the scene, I was just changing the shutter speed through the ride and leaving the aperture wide open at f/1.8. I was trying to shoot at the fastest shutter speed possible to get enough exposure for the image to show up and for it not to be so slow the image was blurry. I was able to use quite a bit faster shutter speed and get better exposure on the Wizard of Oz segment of that ride b/c there is just more light in that room period. The rest of the ride is much harder to get. I shot all the scenes in the ride, some, no matter what I did, just weren't exposed enough at the slowest possible shutter speed I could get a handheld shot in a moving vehicle. Over the weekend I will play around with some in GIMP and see if I can make them any better. Mary Poppins scene is the one I'm hoping to make more pleasing to the eye. She's pretty well exposed but Bert is just in the shadows.

Everything I posted so far I didn't need to do anything to with GIMP except a couple I did a quick crop on which is easy. I'm not a master of photoshop/GIMP so I will need some time to mess around and see if I can make them better.

I got great Country Bears shots that won't need any help, I just need to get around to uploading them. I came right back from vacation worn out and tore up! Only to plow right into a 70 hour work week, so there just hasn't been time.
